The 4TheWall 4×2 Huddle Room Switcher is a professional presentation and collaboration solution designed to simplify connectivity, source selection and device control in modern meeting spaces.
The switcher features two HDMI and two USB-C inputs together with two mirrored HDMI outputs. It supports resolutions up to 4K@60Hz with 4:4:4 color sampling, delivering clear, detailed and color-accurate video for presentations, conferencing and collaborative applications. Both USB-C inputs support DisplayPort 1.4a Alt Mode, USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer, Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and device charging. The system provides up to 100W of total USB-C charging capacity, with up to 50W available for each USB-C input, allowing compatible laptops and BYOD devices to receive video, data, network connectivity and power through a single cable. Integrated USB KVM functionality allows connected USB peripherals to be shared between selected host devices. One USB-C host port and one USB-B host port are provided, along with one USB-C and two USB-A device connections for cameras, speakerphones, keyboards, mice and other compatible meeting-room peripherals. The switcher supports automatic and manual source selection. Automatic switching uses active-signal and 5V detection to identify connected sources and select the appropriate input. It can also manage display power and control external devices, helping automate the complete meeting-room startup and shutdown process. Balanced and unbalanced analog audio embedding and de-embedding provide flexible integration with microphones, audio processors, amplifiers and conferencing systems. Audio can be inserted into or extracted from the selected HDMI or USB-C signal path.
Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with IEEE 802.1X authentication and VLAN support provide secure network integration. The system can be controlled through front-panel buttons, RS-232, TCP/IP or a Web GUI and can manage external devices through CEC, IR, RS-232, LAN and GPIO.
